Smokey has always loved wearing his glasses. He also understands that some children might not like wearing their glasses as much as he does, however, he has been known to help these children.

On a visit to a school, Anna Tayler spoke to a young boy who said he hated wearing his glasses. After showing him many picture of Smokey in glasses and telling anecdotes, the young child was inspired. He decided to follow Smokey’s footsteps and wear his glasses to help him read.
